Our lovely and high quality campsite "De Hondsrug" is situated in the middle of a wooded and slightly rolling area, which bears the same name.

The campsite is the perfect location for outdoor-activities and exploring the beautiful province of Drenthe with woodland, moors and ancient graveyards. Hiking and biking activities are popular and there are numerous routes to choose from in the Hondsrug area. Groningen, a lively and historic city is only 20 miles away and the surrounding villages provide lots of interesting sights as well.
Camp with us with your own camping gear, in a completely furnished and already pitched tent, a mobile home or in one of our new chalets. It’s your choice! Camping on our extensive grounds will give you plenty of time to relax and enjoy your stay with us.

Our facilities are ideal for the whole family. Your children will enjoy themselves in the indoor and outdoor swimming pool, in the various playgrounds and during the activities that our recreation team will organize for them.

Other comforts available at our campsite are: a camp shop, bistro "De Schuilhut" (which has a terrace for outdoor meals) and a take-away counter. Campsite "De Hondsrug" is an ideal starting-point if you are looking for a holiday full of Family Fun.
