En wil je een keer iets anders dan anders, dan is onze Sheddie in Sheddievillage of ons Zandkasteel echt iets voor jou. Op Camping de Hondsrug is er voor elk wat wils, dus neem de plons en ontdek het zelf!
Even een sportief baantje trekken, helemaal ontspannen in het Romaanse stoombad of je elektrische auto opladen? Het is allemaal mogelijk. En heb je geen zin om te koken, dan doen wij dat graag voor je! Ontdek onze brasserie of haal iets lekkers in de snackbar.
Met mooi weer is dit dé place to be! Zwemmen in onze openlucht zwembad, spartelen in het peuterbad of roetsj van de waterglijbaan. Ons zwembad is zo gaaf, daar moet je geweest zijn!
De speeltuin is zo groot! Een springkussen, speeltoestellen en hele grote zandspeelplaats, een waar paradijs voor kinderen om te spelen.

Niet alleen de omgeving biedt alles voor een onvergetelijke vakantie, ook op onze kindercamping hoef je je niet te vervelen. Zo kunnen je samen met de kinderen zwemmen in ons overdekte zwembad of openlucht zwembad met grote waterglijbaan! Ook kunnen de kinderen zich goed vermaken in het nieuwe speelbos, de vele speeltuinen met supercoole speeltoestellen of met ons recreatieteam terwijl je geniet van een goed boek of kopje koffie. Onze tip: bezoek ons winkeltje voor de vergeten boodschap & speelgoed of kom lunchen in ons eetcafé met terras.

Campsite de Hondsrug is the perfect place to camp in the most comfortable way in Drenthe. Our campsite is located in the midst of unique surroundings with lots of opportunities for a fantastic relaxing or active vacation.
The campsite is a perfect place for families in the summer holidays. Children will never be bored because we have a number of playgrounds. The animation team organises multiple activities for both young and old.
Outside the school holidays you can experience the ultimate tranquillity. Discover the beautiful and the varied surroundings and discover the beauty of Drenthe. There are also multiple options for a day out such as museums and amusement parks; you can find them all in Drenthe!
When you want to come, you can choose your own camping spot. You can choose a place in the sun, or in the shade under the trees. We also offer multiple varieties of camping sites.
All camping sites are equipped with 6 Ampere. On severa sites it is possible to upgrade to 8 or 10 Ampere (Extra charge respectively €1 and €2 a night).
You can also choose a comfort pitch. Here you will have a water, sewer and cable connection (ca. 30 channels).
If you want to camp in extra luxurious conditions we recommend the Comfort pitches Plus, these are equipped with a private sanitary cabin with a sink, warm water and a toilet.
On Campsite de Hondsrug it is also possible to rent accommodation. There are 2 types of chalets, 2 types of mobile homes and bungalow tents available for rent. The various types of accommodation are fully equipped and furnished. You can start your vacation immediately!
On the campsite there are many excellent facilities present. For example: the sanitary buildings are equipped with modern and luxury sanitation, use of the showers and warm water is free. During your holiday there will be no need to do the dishes since our dishwashers will do this for you. Your dishes will be clean in only 6 minutes! You can also make unlimited use of our heated indoor swimming pool and open air swimming pool. Whether you want to go lap swimming, or relax in a steam bath. Everything is possible!
In our bistro you can get yourself something to eat and to drink. There is something for everyone on our menu, from appetizers to dinner. We also offer multiple snacks and sandwiches if you want to eat at the caravan.
Campsite De Hondsrug lays in the middle of the Drentic ridge also called the Hondsrug. In 2013 it was proclaimed the First National Geopark of the Netherlands by Unesco. Discover the art, culture, history and nature of this beautiful place during an expedition.
